District Mission Statement

The mission of School District 70 is to provide quality educational opportunities for all students within an environment that fosters the desire to learn, and enhances the teaching of skills necessary to meet the unique academic, personal, physical, and social needs of each individual. All students will be challenged to develop intellectual and learning skills to their fullest potential, preparing them to become contributing members of society and lifelong learners.

TECHNOLOGY GOAL

Target for Technology    The Association of Monroe Parents and Teachers, AMPT, has set a goal to fund a new computer lab at Monroe.  Monroe's students are using more technology than ever and need to have more access to computers in a lab setting.   The cost to fund the lab is approximately $15,000.  The AMPT is determined to reach this goal.  Through the hard work and dedication of parents and teachers, the AMPT is well on its way to reaching that goal.  The fall festival was a great success the past two years and helped the AMPT earn several thousands of dollars to put towards the funding of this project.  In upcoming months, the AMPT will be conducting other fund-raising events, including the Spell-A-Thon, to continue building on the amount it has already earned.  If you would like to make a donation to help fund this project, please contact Mr. Sondgeroth.
